T2FD THE FORGOTTEN ANT.
Monday, March 07 2005
Gee Id forgotten this antenna .
I used in NZ when I brought my first Coms receiver in the 1950's and it was
the one I used to get the first NZ reception report to Porto Rico on MW.
As well as reception to received first QSL issued by the Soloman Island
Short Wave Bcast in the 60's.
Ive re made one again, and yes it realy works well especialy with my Icom
Pcr1000 (as good as a Diskone) can receive VHF Air (MW) transmitions from
ATC Tower some 150 miles away.
