I have one and really like it. The added gain it provides is really handy
when you're diggin in the jumble after phasing a AM BC station. The construction
is very sturdy and will last a lifetime. I wish the pre-amp in the unit was a
regenerative type for added selectivity, but it does work well.
I think the new prices are a bit steep, but I found mine used and feel it was
worth it.
