This would make more sense if you assumed that the availability of deer
has not changed over the lifetime of deer hunting, and that the ability
to clearly see, and track any deer at a great distance has not been
impeded by the new presence of interfering artifacts that made it much
more difficult to track the deer you are targeting.

Actually in the case of DEER HUNTING, yes, it has not changed. But
I am trying to work with your ANALOGY.

This is like getting a pair of night vision glasses to see the deer through
all the interference.

Thirty years ago they worried about the legitimacy of counting tapes as
veries. In 10 more years there will be no more AM DXing (see: BPL,
touch-lamps, unresponsive power utilities, computers in the home, IBOC
etc.) So if it works today, go for it. Thats MY one rupee ( == $ 0.02 )
