Nick;

I haven't tried as yet, as I have been waiting to have them add Morse
Code. XEB, WHK, etc blocking the channel, the Morse Code will be needed
out here. I did log the WARV-1590 DX test several years back. I would
love to hear this one. Maybe I should switch over to 1220 from 1570,
nightly. If CX are good, anything pops in. I did hear WLSD a couple
years back.

"blocking the channel".....? hi. Reminds me of the days when I used to gripe about XERPM blocking 660, so that I couldn't hear WNBC. In retrospect, I think I didn't hear WNBC on those nights because all its signal had already been absorbed, and the same processes might have enhanced XERPM.

In spite of your saying "if cx are good anything can pop in", perhaps you're right to be pessimist. Remember Argentina on 1620 which became a memory when Alabama signed on? Now Alabama's a memory for us near Seattle...

Seriously, I'm finally going to be putting a nightly recorder on 1220.

best wishes,

Nick
