RI on 1220?

Monday, February 23 2004

I've tried for RI several times, but not with a lot of hope. Like
Patrick mentioned, I think morse code will be needed to hear this one.
Most nights all I hear is CJRB from MB and KDDR Oakes, ND, but XEB is
strong some nights, and I've also noted CJRL and WHK (once) this winter.
I agree 1220 is a good frequency now that Lethbridge is gone. The MB
station is a major pest in Edmonton, but not here, so it seems their
directional pattern is maintaining a null in this direction. I wish
the same could be said for the MB station on 1570.
