Pacific Power

Friday, June 10 2005

Pacific Power was here and checked the service into the house and
everything is operating normal. I asked him about the surge protector.
He seemed to think that the red night meant it was operating normally
and the green light meant an open circuit, even though the directions
did not say. He noticed the two Pacific Power surge protectors I have (I
bought from them years ago), were operating normally with the green
light. He did not see any trouble. He did suggest I do put a surge
protector in my service box to protect the whole house. They are
inexpensive and with all of my satellite and communications gear, he
said it was good protection. I thought, it may even help with electrical
noise getting into the house even though the powerlines here are all
under ground. So it looks like I am ok and I was alarmed for nothing. I
very much appreciate everyone's help.
