I was afraid someone would tell me that. However, I think the back of the
fence has a run of a couple of hundred feet.
Now...where is that measuring tape?

A beverage has to be pretty much in a straight line. The directivity of
it will suffer otherwise. They are very forgiving, but you still need a
fairly straight wire out there.
